2 million people have fled Ukraine since start of Russian invasion: UN

The UN High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) Filippo Grandi on Tuesday said that two million people have fled Ukraine since Russia began invading Ukraine on February 24. It represents the fastest-growing refugee crisis in Europe since World War II. Grandi warned that a second wave of refugees from Ukraine is likely to be more vulnerable than the first wave.
