Journalist Payal Mehta passes away at 46, PM Modi condoles demise

Senior journalist Payal Mehta passed away aged 46 in Mumbai. Mehta developed uneasiness late on Saturday night and was rushed to a hospital at around 2 am, where doctors found no pulse. Mehta was serving as Assistant Editor with CNN-News18. Condoling her demise, PM Modi wrote on X, "She was a hardworking journalist who remained firmly connected to the ground."
