NTA Director General Abhishek Singh said cancellation of NEET UGC 2026 examination due to a suspected paper leak is "embarrassing" for the testing agency. "It's a very difficult decision that we had to take...It's not an easy thing for us...but it's for the fairness of exam," said Singh. He added they got a tip-off about the leak on May 7.
