Fisherfolk protest against new TN Assembly-Secretariat complex

Fisherfolk across Chennai's coast staged a protest on Tuesday demanding the state government immediately withdraw its proposal for an Assembly-Secretariat complex in the city. They cited fears of widespread displacement and a threat to their livelihoods, saying the complex would destroy fishing grounds.
