Large rocks fall on rail tracks after landslide on Mumbai-Pune route amid heavy rains

Train services on Mumbai-Pune route were disrupted on Monday after a landslide triggered by heavy rainfall occurred in South East Ghat section between Karjat and Lonavala. Boulders (large rocks) fell on railway tracks after landslide. The landslide took place between Thakurvadi (TKW) and Monkey Hill Loop Cabin (MHLC) on the Up Main Line (UPML) in the Mumbai Division.
