Eiffel Tower chief to step down after row over female staff's removal during BAPS visit

The chief of a firm that runs Paris' Eiffel Tower will step down by end of the year after female staff were reportedly removed during visit by Hindu religious group BAPS earlier this month. The firm, Société d'Exploitation de la tour Eiffel, said internal probe revealed "operational flaws and shortcomings" in organising the visit led to removal of women staff.
