Rajesh Kumar recalled filming a scene with Manohar Singh in which the latter had to slap him after finding him drunk in a bar. He added he had a shot of brandy to get into the character. "[He]...slapped me so hard that...strange sound lingered in my ears...He hugged...and said, 'I'm sorry...I...slapped to make you understand...never drink while acting'," said Rajesh.
