Justice Prakash Prabhakar Naolekar, who will chair a high-level government committee to examine unnatural demographic change across India, served as a judge in the Supreme Court from 2004 to 2008. He was also a part of a bench that upheld terrorist Afzal Guru’s death sentence for the 2001 Parliament attack. He served as Chief Justice of the Gauhati High Court.
