Vidya Balan joins Jailer 2 as Kantha opposite Rajinikanth

Sun Pictures unveiled Vidya Balan's character 'Kantha' in Jailer 2, directed by Nelson Dilipkumar. The actress appears in a blue saree, smoking a cigarette and delivering Tamil dialogue. She reportedly plays Mithun Chakraborty's eldest daughter. The film, also starring SJ Suryah and Suraj Venjaramoodu, releases on October 15, 2026.
