A baby boy has become the first child in the UK to be born using a womb transplanted from a dead donor. Grace Bell, who was born with Mayer-Rokitansky-Küster-Hauser (MRKH) syndrome, was told as a teenager she would be unable to carry a child. MRKH syndrome is a rare condition resulting in an underdeveloped or missing womb.
