B'luru startup raises ₹24 cr for plane that can fly without landing for a year
Alteon, a Bengaluru-based aerospace startup, has raised $2.5 million (nearly ₹24 crore) in pre-seed funding to build an aircraft capable of flying for over a year without landing. The aircraft uses ocean wind gradients to generate energy and stay airborne with minimal propulsion. During an August offshore test, it autonomously completed multiple loops less than a metre above the ocean.
