Iran uploaded organisational blueprints for Khamenei's funeral onto Claude: Anthropic

Anthropic, in its threat intelligence report, shared that an account linked to Islamic Culture and Communications Organization uploaded detailed organisational blueprints for Ayatollah Ali Khamenei's funeral and succession plans onto Claude. Another Iran-linked group also used Claude to gather intelligence on US naval forces, it added. Khamenei was killed in US-Israeli strike on February 28, 2026.
