A stampede broke out at the Sangam ahead of 'Amrit Snan' on Mauni Amavasya, the biggest bathing day at Maha Kumbh, in Uttar Pradesh's Prayagraj. The incident took place at around 2 am due to an excessive crowd, leaving several people injured, according to officials. Visuals from the site showed several ambulances taking the injured to a makeshift hospital.
