Spanish PM suspends public duties as wife faces corruption probe

Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez suspended his public duties to "stop and reflect" on whether he should continue holding the position after court initiated preliminary inquiry against his wife, Begona Gomez, on corruption charges on Wednesday. Gomez, who doesn't hold public office, has been accused of using her position to influence business deals. Sanchez has, however, denied the allegations.
