Up to $12 billion (around ₹1,12,000 crore) refunds of the total $166 billion tariff that US will be returning are linked to Indian goods, as per a Global Trade Research Initiative report. The refunds, however, can only be claimed by US entities and Indian exporters will have to negotiate to get the benefits. Notably, this is US' largest-ever tariff refund.
