Gold jumps by ₹3,200 in 48 hours in India

The price of gold with 99.9% purity rose by nearly ₹3,200 in the last 48 hours, hitting ₹1,52,803 per 10 grams, as per IBJA data. Meanwhile, the price of silver with 99.9% purity rose by nearly ₹4,000 as it reached ₹2,35,352 per kilogram. Gold and silver prices have risen by ₹9,943 per 10 grams and ₹17,057 per kg in August.
