Pakistani Army chief Qamar Javed Bajwa urged the US for the early disbursal of the nearly $1.2 billion loan from the IMF, state media reported on Friday. Notably, the IMF has already granted Pakistan "staff-level approval" for the loan on July 13. This comes amid high inflation in the country due to higher prices of energy imports.
