Astronauts grow kale, mustard greens outside plant facility on ISS

The International Space Station (ISS) revealed that astronauts were able to grow Red Russian kale and Wasabi mustard greens on the space station outside of a dedicated plant growth facility. This helped researchers study how plants grow in different areas throughout the space station. This can also help astronauts grow fresh food for future missions to the Moon or Mars.
