The second phase of Lok Sabha elections began on Friday as polling started on 88 seats across 13 states and UTs at 7 am. As per the Election Commission, 8.08 crore males, 7.8 crore females and 5,929 third-gender electors are eligible to vote in this phase. A total of 1,202 candidates are seeking votes, the top electoral body said.
