US serves summons to Adani in ₹2,400-crore bribery case after India rejects request twice

US SEC successfully served summonses to billionaire Gautam Adani and his nephew, Sagar, through their US-based lawyers in a ₹2,400-crore bribery case. This comes after the SEC claimed India's Law Ministry rejected their request to serve summonses to Adani twice last year. The Adanis will have 90 days to respond if a judge approves the way the summonses were served.
