A baby giraffe was named Jude after England midfielder Jude Bellingham at England's Port Lympne Reserve. The naming was inspired by the "remarkable timing of her birth", shortly before Bellingham scored a brace to help England secure 2-1 win over Norway in FIFA World Cup 2026 quarter-final. The calf belongs to the Nubian giraffe, the world's most threatened giraffe subspecies.
