SC Collegium recommends 3 HC Chief Justices for apex court

The Supreme Court Collegium on Monday recommended elevation of three High Court Chief Justices — Justice Sunita Agarwal (Gujarat HC), Justice DK Upadhyay (Delhi HC), and Justice Aparesh Kumar Singh (Telangana HC) — as Supreme Court judges. The move will fill three of four existing vacancies in the top court, which has a sanctioned strength of 38 judges.
