Filmmaker Imitaz Ali expressed his gratitude to the 'Dhurandhar' makers for increasing footfall in theatres at the International Film Festival of Delhi 2026. He said, "I haven't seen 'Dhurandhar' yet, but I know that there are many beautiful things in it." However, he added, "I would like to thank them for bringing audiences to theatres, I hope it continues."
