What is the difference between EBITDA and EBIT?
short by System User / on Wednesday, 22 January, 2025
EBITDA (Earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortisation) and EBIT (earnings before interest and taxes) are used to assess a company's profitability. EBITDA excludes interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortisation, revealing earnings before non-cash expenses. EBIT excludes interest and taxes, and gives a comprehensive view of operating profitability.
