The CBFC has introduced its Online Certification System, slashing the maximum number of days for certification to 48 working days. Now, feature films will be able to get certified in as few as 28 working days, while short films will take 3 days. This comes amid a month-long battle between the CBFC and Vijay's 'Jana Nayagan' over delay in certification.
