Anthropic has tightened enforcement to block Chinese companies from accessing its Claude AI models. According to the Financial Times, major firms such as Ant Financial and ByteDance have bypassed restrictions by using overseas subsidiaries, cloud platforms like Azure and VPNs. Anthropic currently does not offer Claude to Chinese companies or their overseas subsidiaries.
