Former India captain Virat Kohli penned a note for Ajinkya Rahane after the latter announced his retirement from all forms of cricket. Calling Rahane his "favourite Test batting partner", Kohli wrote, "You’ve done wonders for Indian cricket." He also described Rahane as "the safest pair of hands in slips" and wished his ex-teammate well for the journey ahead in life.
