The heat index or feels-like temperature in Delhi was recorded at 51.3°C at 2:30 pm on Saturday, according to the India Meteorological Department (IMD). It was the season's highest feel-like temperature. The national capital registered a maximum temperature of 41.3°C, which was 4.1°C above normal. The weather department has issued a yellow alert for rain for Tuesday and Wednesday.
