The Bangladesh government has announced housing and financial assistance for the family of Dipu Chandra Das, the Hindu man lynched in December last year. The National Housing Authority has approved BDT 2.5 million (₹18.5 lakh) for constructing a house. Additionally, the government will provide BDT 1 million (₹7.4 lakh) each to Das’s father and wife.
