IAS officer Radhakrishnan Jagannathan officiated the wedding of Meena, a girl he saved from the deadly 2004 Indian Ocean tsunami in Tamil Nadu. Radhakrishnan was serving as district collector during the 2004 tsunami when he found Meena crying near the debris in Keechankuppam. She was placed at a government children's home but Radhakrishnan & his wife continued to support Meena.
