Domestic violence survivor 'marries' AI chatbot, says 'There's no emotional volatility'

A Japanese domestic violence survivor has reportedly 'married' an AI chatbot she created using ChatGPT, which she named Ciel, Tokyo Reporter reported. She said, "In human relationships, I was constantly exhausted...dealing with my ex-husband’s mood swings. With Ciel, there's no emotional volatility." She has stockpiled over 5,000 conversation logs on her mobile to rebuild Ciel if the service ends.
