Study reveals what India's Gen Z spends most on

More than 70% of India’s salaried Gen Z’s monthly spending goes towards necessities, with bills and subscriptions accounting for the largest share at 20.1%, according to a study of UPI data by SalarySe. This is followed by groceries (15.7%), financial services (12.2%), shopping (11.9%) and food (11.5%). Meanwhile, travel accounts for just 5% of Gen Z’s monthly spending.
