A Great Indian Bustard (GIB) chick hatched in Gujarat after a decade using the 'Jumpstart' conservation approach, Environment Minister Bhupendra Yadav posted on X. Under Project GIB, a captive-bred egg from Rajasthan was placed in a wild nest in Kutch. The chick hatched on March 26 and is being raised by a foster mother, marking a milestone in revival efforts.
