A US-based family rejected a $26 million (around ₹245 crore) offer from a major AI company to sell part of their 1,200-acre farmland for a proposed data centre, WKRC reported. The offer was reportedly ten times the land's value. Referring to claims that the data centre would create jobs, owner Ida Huddleston said, "It's a scam."
