Hockey India President Dilip Tirkey said the federation's office-bearers, including him, were informed about the new saffron jersey just over two hours before its public unveiling. In an email to Executive Director RK Srivastava, Tirkey questioned whether the board was merely informed of an already finalised decision or if its views were genuinely sought before it was implemented.
