Nine cheetahs, including six females and three males, were brought from South Africa's Botswana and released at Madhya Pradesh's Kuno National Park by Union Minister Bhupender Yadav on Saturday. They were flown in on Indian Air Force aircraft after 30 days of quarantine as part of Project Cheetah. India's total cheetah count now stands at 48, including 28 India-born cubs.
