Bomb explodes at Manipur Congress chief Meghachandra’s home

A suspected hand grenade exploded near the gate of Manipur Congress chief Keisham Meghachandra Singh's residence in Yairipok, Thoubal district, around 8:15 pm, police said. The blast occurred after an unidentified person allegedly hurled the explosive at the residence. No casualties were reported. Police reached the spot and launched a search operation in and around the area.
