IPL auction to be held in Goa after 17 years

The IPL 2027 auction will be held in Goa in December, BCCI Secretary Devajit Saikia confirmed on Wednesday. It will mark the return of the IPL auction to Goa after 17 years, with the venue last hosting it in 2009. The 2027 auction will also be the final mini-auction of the 2023-27 cycle. The previous three auctions were held overseas.
