Google and Intel have expanded their collaboration to focus on AI-based central processing units (CPUs). Google has committed to using Intel's CPUs in its AI data centres, both firms will also expand on co-developing custom infrastructure processing units. "Through this collaboration, Intel and Google will align across multiple generations of Intel processors to improve performance," Intel said.
