The CBI conducted searches at six locations across Chandigarh, Panchkula and Delhi-NCR as part of a probe into an alleged ₹661 crore fraud involving government funds parked with IDFC First Bank and AU Finance Bank. The searches targeted premises linked to Haryana cadre officials. The agency alleged that public servants received undue benefits for facilitating the transactions.
