Bangladesh has shut all the universities from Monday as part of emergency measures to conserve electricity and fuel amid the energy crisis due to the ongoing war in Middle East. The move will not only ​reduce electricity consumption but also ease traffic congestion, which leads ​to fuel wastage, said officials. Bangladesh relies on imports for 95% of its energy needs.
