Andhra CM announces pension hike, release of pending DA instalments

Andhra Pradesh CM Chandrababu Naidu announced pension hikes for government employees from 2027 and release of two pending Dearness Allowance (DA) instalments. He also announced the appointment of 12th Pay Revision Commission to address government employees' demands. "This will entail an additional expenditure of ₹2,880 crore to government exchequer," PTI reported quoting Andhra's official release.
