Private equity (PE) investment in Indian real estate fell 23% year-on-year to $1.13 billion in the first half of 2026, according to Knight Frank India. Despite the overall decline, office assets attracted 89% of total investments. Funding into the office segment jumped 33% to $998 million, driven by GCC demand and income-generating properties.
