ISRO conducted the first successful test of its Sub-Orbital Launch Vehicle for Experiments (SOLVE) rocket platform on Friday. The platform will be used to test Gaganyaan Crew Module's parachute systems in simulated conditions. The Crew Module will be released from an altitude of 10-17 km during tests with 10 parachutes deployed to reduce its velocity before splashing into the sea.
