Kerala University proposes ban on campus politics, sparks row

Kerala University has proposed imposing a blanket ban on political activities on its campus and affiliated colleges in a draft Code of Conduct. Former CM Pinarayi Vijayan has criticised the proposal, saying it reflected fear of a questioning generation, while the Kerala University Employees' Union called it undemocratic. University officials said the regulations have not been finalised yet.
