Dr Shamika Ravi, Member of the Economic Advisory Council to Prime Minister, was asked about the possibility of rupee crossing the three-digit mark. "So what? 100 is just a number," she said. Shamika added that inflation would become a problem if government or RBI jump in and try to maintain the value of the currency.
