The Employees' Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO) added 18.23 lakh net subscribers in July 2022, marking an increase of over 24% as compared to the year-ago period, Labour Ministry data showed. Of the total additions, around 10.58 lakh members joined EPFO's social security ambit for the first time. About 57.69% of the new subscribers are from the age-group of 18-25 years.
