Scientists at ETH Zurich have developed a new gel to prevent hangovers, according to a research published in Nature Nanotechnology. "Here we present an effective solution for alcohol detoxification by employing a biomimetic-nanozyme amyloid hydrogel as an orally administered catalytic platform," the scientists said. It significantly reduced blood-alcohol levels in mice, the scientists added.
