Centre opposes entry of women in Sabarimala; says it isn't rooted in inferiority

Centre filed a detailed submission in Supreme Court regarding the Sabarimala Temple women's entry row. It opposed the entry of women of menstruating age, calling it an essential religious practice. Centre said the exclusion is not rooted in women's inferiority, adding that the essentiality of the practice must be based on religious texts, and it lies beyond judicial review.
