Haryana villagers have complained that the drinking water supplied to them is of very poor quality. A resident of Baniyani said the water is so brackish that even buffaloes don't drink it. Another man from Samaspur village challenged that if politicians come and drink this water, he'll vote for them in the coming elections. He added, "[Politicians] can't drink it."
